Lift Station 5 Reconstruction
This project will replace the existing sanitary sewer lift station and associated force main work on Beacon Street between Inlet Street and Tide Street. The force main work is complete. The contractor will mobilize and start installation of new wetwell.

Pioneer Trail Reconductoring
NSBU and our contractor, Pike, is rebuilding the overhead electrical line along Pioneer Trail between roughly Williamson Blvd to the I-95 overpass. The project will require MOT/lane closure for the majority of the work. Construction is underway.

GWTP Chemical Upgrades
Chemical conversion from gas to liquid treatment.

Potable Water Well Rehabilitation Plan
A 5-year potable water well rehabilitation plan for 19 wells. This maintenance and rehabilitation plan will optimize the production of our wells and ensure the safeguarding of our precious water resource.
Project UpdateWe are currently working in the Western Wellfield where work on Wells #15, #16, and #17 has been completed. We are currently working on Wells #19 and #20.

Lift Station 12 Replacement Project
This is for the reconstruction of the existing lift station located at the NW corner of Duss Street and Washington Street, which will include new discharge piping between Mary Avenue and Washington Street.

Barracuda Bridge Utility Replacement Project
All water main work has been completed. The first two phases have been cleared by the Department of Health. NSBU Field Operations has begun connecting new water services in these two phases. The last phase is currently being tested. Once cleared for use, the final water main connection can be scheduled. The final apshalt patch work is scheduled for the week of May 8th. NSBU and the City are working together on a final paving restoration plan and schedule.
